SADLY DIED 02.10.05 (age nearly 11yr old)
Still really sadly missed by myself but mostly my husband whose dog he was. You could not have had a more loyal affectionate and very protective dog. Border collie's have always been my husbands favorite dogs and I can see why now. A very gentle dog and loving dog.
Favorite toy
His favorite toy was the Frisbee. Jumping anything, he could clear 7ft vertical walls with pretty much ease. Vole hunting: he could find these with ease in wide open fields. Geese chasing: He could always hear these from miles away and would chase them when the flew overhead. His master, my husband. Definitely a one person dog if ever I've seen one. Searching for stones underwater: He could easily locate stones under 2ft+ of water and retrieve them. His technique was to feel around with his feet then put his full head under to get them. It's something that always amazed us, especially at the length of time he could put his head under the water. Walks, walks and walks.
Sadly he died very suddenly from a heart condition which went unnoticed. To say we were left devastated was an understatement. He was the perfect pet in every respect.
His name forms part of our affix, Tyroxcollies
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the few photos of him.
Probably the Best border collie we will ever own!
